| The stir surrounding the recent release of the documentary "Jesus
Camp" has found just has many fans as naysayers. The film follows the
charismatic Christian summer camp for children. Debuting at the 2006 Tribeca
Film Festival and later purchased by A&E Indie Films the documentary
has raised many questions about what authentic worship and spirituality
is for youth. The controversy surrounding the film started with an October
2006 CNN report. |

| Located just outside Devils Lake, North Dakota, ironically enough, Becky
Fisher who is the children's pastor at "Kid's on Fire" summer
camp strives to show the real life stories of three dynamically charismatic
youth in her children's ministry in the documentary. At the camp, Fischer
stresses the need for children to purify themselves in order to be used
by God. She strongly believes that children need to be in the forefront
of turning America back to conservative Christian values. The result is often
very charismatic behvaviors from children who many believe have been brainwashed
into a false sense of spirituality. |

| The film which was produced by Magnolia Pictures continues to draw lines
between those who believe in the film's authenticity and others who find
this type of involvement by children just a bit too far. |
