CLASS A Soccer Camp Testimonials:

What our Players Have to Say

“I am proud to say I was able to go to Asbury's College soccer camp. I found myself busy, every day, all day.  The Charlotte Eagles coached us throughout the day and we even got to play against them at night.  Aside from them teaching us many new things, we developed a great relationship with some of the Charlotte Eagle players.  That is definitely a huge advantage when you attend a smaller college camp.  You learn more and get more individual training.  Every morning we started off the day with a devotion and ended the day with a chapel. It was great realizing that it is God who gives you the talent to play soccer.   I want to give CLASS A Soccer Camp a huge compliment by saying this was by far the best camp I have ever attended.”

 -Rachel Bertrand- Player, KY ODP

“Class A Soccer Camp not only places emphasis on putting young men and women in an environment where paramount soccer skills and quality life-long traits are sharpened, but it also provides the right leaders, coaches, professional soccer players, and Godly mentors to do so. I can honestly and whole-heartedly say that one week at Class A Soccer Camp brings about a new and inspiring approach to God and to the great sport of soccer.”

-Paul Nesselroade- Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Asbury College

“The Class A Soccer Camp is like no other camp I have experienced as either a player or coach. The premier soccer instruction by professional players and college coaches, combined with the in depth individual Christian discipleship curriculum, separates Class A from any camp you’ll find. Class A builds stronger young men and women through their passion for soccer.  Players are taught how to use their God given gifts to pursue excellence, influence others through hard work and humility and to serve one another.  Players leave the camp not just a better player, but with a new perspective on their faith and their purpose and an understanding of how they can influence others for Christ by playing the game they love.”

“If every soccer player had a chance to go to a Class A camp, we would not only see a healthier generation of soccer players with more leadership potential, but the state of soccer would be significantly enhanced, since more athletes would ascribe to the virtues, values and passions underlying the true spirit and laws of the game."

“One thing I would say about the camp is that I have been to many camps in my youth, but none of those have provided so much learning in such unique ways. This camp is one of the highlights of my summer.”

-Kellie German- Player Asbury College

"From a goalkeeper coach's perspective, complementing sportsmanship, ministry and spiritual growth through Class A is integral with the development of the mental toughness, leadership, confidence and self-efficacy necessary to endure the pressure and psychological rigors of the goalkeeping position. It affords individuals the necessary skills to communicate effectively and how to motivate teammates through inspiration and by example, and most importantly, how to bring out the best qualities of all those involved within the game, amidst the trials and tribulations of competition."

What Parents are Saying

“As a Parent of a first time camper, I have to say that it was an extremely positive experience for my 14 year old daughter.  She loved most being able to work one on one with the Charlotte Eagles and they took a genuine interest in her soccer development, as well as her leadership and character development.  She is already asking when the camp will be again this summer!”

 -Lisa Bertrand- Lexington, KY

“The Class A Soccer camp provided both team building and individual character growth in a Christian atmosphere.  I knew my son would be provided excellent soccer training in a situation where I didn't need to be concerned about the influence of other camp participants or the staff.  The game competition at the camp was of the highest standards of skills and respect for each other.  I strongly recommend this camp.”
