If you're like us, you sometimes get tired of listening to that same old music and have started to wonder what in the world "excellent music" is supposed to be about in the first place. It's a good thing you're here. That's what the Ascenxion Project is all about.

It's really easy to find a band these days. They're everywhere. Visit any number of websites out there and you will find as many bands as there are people. The question is, how many of these bands are really artists?

At the Ascenxion Project we focus on the artist, on the musicianship and on excellence. We're not trying to sell you the next big record seller. Rather, we're trying to let you know about some of the great artists out there. Some you might have heard of. Many you may have not.

There are many ways to define excellence. Often for bands it seems to just be about how many records have sold or how many times their song or video has played on the big stations. At the Ascenxion Project we believe that the bar for excellence has been too low so we aim a bit higher.

True artists do more than just record another album and get their song out on the airwaves. True artists have a character and a personality that can often be felt beyond the bounds of the CD jewel case. You know what we're talking about. You know those artists that empower you and challenge you and invite you to be more than you are. These are the types of artists the Ascenxion Project wants to tell you more about.

As a Christian organization, the Ascenxion Project focuses beyond the musical life to spiritual pursuit. We believe that a well-rounded and excellent life for musicians is discovered in the synergy between the spiritual and the musical. It is not one or the other. It is both that encourages true excellence.
